이번 편은 영어사용능력(English proficiency) 증진과는 아무 상관도 없다.

Colon과 semi-colon의 예외적인 경우가 SAT에 어떻게 출제되는지 살펴보는 시간이다.

우선 정상적인 경우와 예외적인 경우를 마지막으로 복습하자.

<정상적인 경우>

1. Semi-colon è Semi-colon 이후에 문장이 사용됨

2. colon è colon 이후에 sentence fragment 가 사용됨 (즉 구(phrase) 따위.)

<예외적인 경우>

1. Semi-colon è Semi-colon 이후에 sentence fragment 가 사용됨 (즉 구(phrase) 따위.)

2. colon è colon 이후에 sentence 가 사용됨.

이제 SAT의 출제경향을 살펴보자.
